Emirus always take a five stage, collaborative approach to developing web applications:
1. Consultation:
We will carry out an in-depth consultation, free of charge. As a result of an initial investigatory meeting with you, we will provide you with a proposal, outlining the services we believe you (and your customers) need. At this stage, nothing is set in stone, and we may provide various functional and design options to you.
2. Design:
On your agreement, we develop this proposal into detailed specifications for the application. The specifications describe the visual, structural and technical design of the site. This detailed approach ensures that we get everything right before moving on to the development stage.
3. Development:
Once you’ve agreed the specifications, we begin to create all the elements necessary for the site, and construct the application.
Towards the later stages of development, we create a test site, where the content and functionality of the application can be reviewed and amended as necessary.
4. Implementation:
Once everyone is satisfied with the test site, we provide you with any necessary training to manage and update the site. The files are then transferred to a live environment, and the site is launched.
5. Ongoing Services:
When the site is launched, you may require ongoing support and development work. For example, building additional functionality into the site, monitoring and analysing traffic statistics, and implementing an ongoing search engine optimisation strategy.
